Our approach to school support
Good school support is more than just being there. It is a craft – involving clear methods, a strong relationship and the courage to make oneself redundant. Our approach rests on three pillars.
Our three pillars
Relationship first
No child will accept support against their will. Trust is the prerequisite for everything else – which is why every support programme begins with building a relationship, not with tasks.
Structure and calm
Many challenges in everyday school life arise from unpredictability and being overwhelmed. We provide guidance before we expect performance.
Research rather than gut feeling
Our methods are based on current, internationally recognised approaches. All our mentors undergo continuous professional development at our own Academy.
Above all, we are guided by one principle: as much support as necessary, as little as possible. Our aim is not dependence, but independence.
